About Promero Hockey

Built on a passion for developing young hockey players in Saskatchewan.

Our Story

Promero Hockey was founded to fill a gap in youth hockey development. Too many young players plateau — not because they lack talent, but because they lack access to the right coaching and feedback. We built Promero to change that.

Our camps, clinics, and video review programmes give players at every stage of development the tools and attention they need to keep improving, season after season.

Meet the Coach

Greg Park has spent most of his life around the game of hockey — as a player, coach, parent, and lifelong student of the sport. After playing at a high competitive level, including semi-professional hockey, Greg developed a deep understanding of what it takes to compete, improve, and carry yourself the right way on and off the ice.

Throughout his playing and coaching journey, Greg has had the opportunity to work with and learn from respected players and coaches, including Paul Pooley (Winnipeg Jets), Rick Bennett (New York Rangers), Mike Babcock (Detroit Red Wings), and many more. Greg has also coached and helped develop talented young players, including Alex Kannok-Liepert (AHL), Carson Denomie (Regina Pats), Carter Hanson (Moose Jaw Warriors), Tim McGauley (AHL), and  many more. Those experiences helped shape his coaching philosophy: build strong fundamentals, teach the game properly, demand effort, and help young athletes grow in confidence.

For Greg, coaching youth hockey is not just about winning games. It is about building players, building confidence, and helping kids develop a love for the game that can last a lifetime.

How We're Different

Detail-Driven Coaching

We don't just run drills. Every session is intentional, every rep has a purpose, and every player gets real feedback.

Development Over Everything

Winning is great. Getting better is the point. We focus on long-term player development, not short-term results.

Accessible to Everyone

Elite-level coaching shouldn't only be available to elite-level budgets. We keep our programmes affordable and accessible.

Meet the Coach

Greg’s passion is youth hockey. He believes the best coaches do more than run drills — they teach habits, decision-making, compete level, positioning, discipline, and respect for the game. His goal is to help players understand why they are doing something, not just what to do. Whether working with beginners or competitive players, Greg focuses on creating an environment where kids are challenged, supported, and excited to improve.

Hockey is also a major part of Greg’s family life.

His two sons both play hockey, and he has coached and supported them throughout their development. His daughter is a dedicated figure skater, giving Greg and his family a full appreciation for the discipline, commitment, and athleticism required in ice sports. As a hockey dad, figure skating dad, and coach, Greg understands the balance between development, competition, confidence, and keeping the game fun for young athletes.

Greg’s coaching approach is built around hard work, accountability, team play, and long-term development. He wants every player he coaches to leave the ice better than when they arrived — not only as a hockey player, but as a teammate and young person.
